There’s no denying that Sports luxe has been a hugely popular influence on contemporary styling for a while now, but there’s no better time than Spring to start taking some subtle ques from the macro trend and introducing these into your own wardrobe. I think that a purely Sports luxe wardrobe is something that is very difficult to maintain, but there a certainly elements that make for perfect Spring wardrobe updates. For example, cotton sweatshirts are a really simple way to add a sports luxe element to your existing style and to make an otherwise dressy outfit a bit more casual and understated. This white piece is a recent purchase for a white party that I attended, but I was determined to find a way of wearing it again, and now I think that I have. Another sporty Spring update that I am wearing today are my recently purchased Nike Roshe Runs. I didn’t want a bar of the hype when I first saw them, but after discovering a pair in navy blue I decided to give them a go. And DAMN! I don’t think I have ever worn a more comfortable shoe in my life! They also look fantastic, and again, bring a casual air to a Spring outfit.
There is a lot more white in today’s outfit than usual, so I decided to pose with another Spring favourite, a white Magnolia! The flowers look much better than I do, however. I am wearing:
