Hustle and Scout: Style Scouting April 2015

On Saturday I had the great pleasure of attending the Autumn/Winter Hustle and Scout Twilight Fashion Markets at Hangar 47 in Fairbairn as the official Style Scout for the event. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, with an amazing turnout and a fantastic array of local designers showing their wares, and vendors peddling a staggering array of street food fare. I love Hustle and Scout and think that it is one of the most exciting things happening in fashion for Canberra, and I look forward to each new market, just waiting to see what our local talents will have on offer. I photographed a fair few people on the day who all had a special something going on, and the below are just a sampling of my favourite looks from the day.

Texture and print-play on point. These lovely ladies were kind enough to let me snap them after I was drawn to their great outfits.

Maroon menace! Loved this guy’s monochromatic look and his impeccable attention to detail. Style goals! But in navy, of course.

These handsome chaps are the creative minds behind local label Stitch Apparel. Check out their website and their awesome designs, and expect to see more from them soon!

Loving the minimalist colour pallet sported by this stylish couple, just going to show that basic pieces truly are the building blocks of any wardrobe.

I have such a fixation with rock t-shirts and outfits that celebrate them at the moment, and this stylish lass, the designer of label Charlie Boy, had it going on!

Light-coloured denim is a current fixation, so these lovely ladies really caught my eye. When the posse has it going on!
