Daily Outfit: Goodbye Sweater Weather

As much as it pains me to say this, I think we’re almost at the end of sweater weather for 2015 here in Australia. Anyone who knows me or who has been reading this blog for a while would know that I cannot stand the heat, and Autumn and Winter are my preferred seasons to live in. If I could afford to live in perpetual Autumn/Winter, I would, and not just because it would mean a life of perpetual sweater weather. I mean, that would be a part of it, but not the only reason. I love the chill in the air and the leaves or frost on the ground that these seasons bring, and of course the better ability to layer and outfit. That said, sweater weather feels like it is drawing to a close here in Australia. The days are getting brighter and sunnier, and as a result, layering is becoming less appealing. I was positively warm and sleepy this afternoon  in this outfit, and a mere two weeks ago I would have been wondering why I hadn’t thought to bring a coat with me!

Sweater weather isn’t done and dusted yet, however, and so today’s outfit was rightfully an homage to all that’s right with the season! I’m wearing:

cream cable-knit sweater – Oval Dice, Harajuku – Tokyo
dark navy cotton button-down shirt – Euromerican Tailors, Hong Kong
chocolate brown leather belt – Sportscraft
Arc 3D tapered jeans in raw denim – G-Star Raw
Chelsea boots in tobacco suede – The Ball & Chain, Catch of the Day
