As I’m sure that you’re aware now, I’m turning 30 in under 30 weeks. As such, I have compiled a list of 30 things that I am supposed to have done or to have stopped doing BEFORE I turn 30.
Each week until I actually turn 30 I will be discussing/ranting about one of the items on the list, and deciding whether I agree with it or not.
Today is the thirteenth entry in my 30 Before 30 series, and the topic is Number 13: You should have learned another language…
At 29 years of age, I have never really placed a great deal of importance on being able to speak a language other than my native Australian-English.
However, when I travelled to Japan for the first time in 2013, I realised that I desperately wanted to live there, and that being able to speak at least basic Japanese would in fact be very necessary. Today’s 30 Before 30 video features some of the tips and tricks I am following to try and speed along my VERY slow progress of learning another language; as well as me awkwardly introducing the video in Japanese!
ENJOY! And thanks for watching 🙂
